Requirements:
- NQF Level 2 or Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Food service experience in a clinical or hospital environment is advantageous.
- Preference will be given to EPWP/Interns.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under stressful conditions.
- Availability to work weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.
- Commitment to diversity and equity, particularly in terms of race, gender, and disability.
Duties:
- Prepare normal and therapeutic diets following standardized recipes.
- Portion meals according to ration scales and prescriptions.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards according to HACCP rules and OHS standards.
- Handle and lift heavy food service equipment.
- Manage allocated resources responsibly.
- Be flexible to work in various areas of the Cook Freeze factory as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
