Position: VIP (Security) Officer

We have an amazing opportunity for a VIP (Security) Officer based in Bryanston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe patrolling activity, preventing loss and theft, and reporting any irregularities or suspicious acts.

You Bring:

• Grade C certification.
• 1-2 years of security experience.
• Registration with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).

A Bonus To Have:

• Valid driver’s license.

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

• Arrive 15 minutes before the branch opens.
• Conduct a perimeter patrol before opening.
• Maintain vigilance and alertness before the opening and closing of the branch.
• Conduct floor walks and observe the premises once the branch is open.
• Manage patrolling inside and outside the branch, back areas, and parking areas.
• Ensure all equipment, such as two-way radios and panic buttons, are in good working order.
• Search all guests entering the branch, including team members, using appropriate methods.
• Direct and control foot traffic and vehicle flow on the premises.
• Participate in branch meetings and assist with receiving stock, conducting alarm tests, and submitting daily reports.

Guest Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and being friendly, helpful, polite, and courteous at all times.
• Address guest complaints proactively and communicate feedback effectively.

Compliance:

• Wear full Amadoda uniforms with name badges.
• Scan all persons entering the premises and be observant of guests leaving.
• Ensure no bags, weapons, or alcohol are allowed inside the premises.
• Follow the code of conduct strictly, including no smoking, using cell phones, or accepting tips while on duty.

Values:

• Actively promote Hollywoodbets values and lead by example.

Other:

• Report absenteeism to the Branch Manager or Senior Team Leader 2 hours before the shift begins.
• Be able to work rotating shifts or flexible hours.
• Maintain physical fitness in line with job requirements.
