We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Store Assistant to join our dynamic team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a General Store Assistant at Railway Furnishers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction in our store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the sales team with stocking shelves and arranging displays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage inventory and assist with receiving and unpacking shipments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate the cash register and handle transactions as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the assembly and delivery of furniture to customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the store\u2019s operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical ability to lift and move furniture and other heavy items.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliable, punctual, and a team player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>How to Apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please complete the application process to apply for a position at Railway Furnishers.
